Javier Valbuena
Javier Valbuena es Doctor en Economía desde noviembre de 2013. La tesis, defendida en University of Kent (UKC), Canterbury (UK), tiene como objeto el estudio de la transmisión intergeneracional de educación basado en la toma de decisiones en las distintas etapas educativas. En la actualidad es Profesor Titular de Universidad en el Departamento de Economía Aplicada, FECEM, Universidad de Zaragoza. Sus líneas de investigación principales son la Economía de la Educación, la Economía del Trabajo y la Economía Pública, todas ellas con un marcado componente empírico relacionado con la micro-econometría y microeconomía aplicada.
Desde el año 2013 ha participado como investigador en diversos proyectos de investigación competitivos a nivel regional (SGR en Cataluña y DGA en Aragón), nacional (MINECO Retos-ECO, MINECO Retos-EDU, MICIU-Generación de Conocimiento, y Fundación Ramón Areces) e internacional (YOUNG-1, HORIZON 2020, European Commission y British Academy-UK). Sus investigaciones aparecen publicadas, entre otras revistas, en: Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Development Studies, Economic Analysis and Policy, Journal of Economics Surveys, Social Indicators Research, British Educational Research Journal, Journal of Environmental Management.
